As if life wasn't hard enough being bullied and treated like garbage all the time; my loathsome, insufferable seat mate just had to come with his "secrets" and torture my every waking hour. What's the big deal you say? Nothing except for the fact that he's some insanely beautiful Greek God under those nerdy glasses. And now, he lives next door. I'm Sarah and this is my story. Eva doesn't know who she is. She hardly knows the difference between a crush and true love. Usually tied up with school, sports and friends, she is constantly juggling her life in her small clumsy hands. She is waiting for the day she discovers who she is, what she's here for and hopefully she'll make it out of year 12 alive. But that's not exactly what the universe has in store for her. One day, a quirky boy accidentally kicks a soccer ball to her face. His name is Sam. Just like that, the order of her life went out of whack. Unable to help herself, she soon finds she is falling in love with Sam one day at a time, and he's determined to be the best he can for them. Her life has a little spark now, and she doesn't know whether she likes it or not. She discovers love is not what she originally thought it would be and it's more than give and take. When Sam is suddenly shrouded in mystery, like she never knew him at all, she knows she has to make a choice. Is their love worth the fight or is it time to let go? She knows what they say about high school romances. They never last forever.

❝tell her that i miss our little talks.❞ katelyn leary and allia williams met when they were seven, and had been inseparable since. nicknamed "the two musketeers" in middle school, they have been there for each other through bad break ups, dysfunctional families, and flunked tests. after being voted "best friends" in their freshman year, kate, as well as everyone else, was sure that they would remain as close as sisters for the rest of their lives. but towards the end of their sophomore year, allie cut herself off from her social life, kate included. kate was devastated, hurt by the fact that allie was so easily able to dismiss a friendship that had endured nine years and was stronger than the both of them. while allie continued to snub kate's attempts to rekindle a suddenly suffocated fire, kate tried to understand why allie was so eager to leave her behind. eventually, kate immersed herself in her school work and new boyfriend in hopes that she could move on from allie. five months later, allie committed suicide, leaving nothing behind. three months later, a new boy occupies allie's old house, and kate's pain begins all over again. still unable to come to terms with allie's death, she tries to cope with everyday life while balancing her ever-changing boyfriend and his personality. but with the new boy in town who seems to know all the answers to every question kate has, she finally has a chance to be at peace. but how will she cope with what she finds out?
