Rumors used to say that the Gypsies pick out a boy’s bride when they come to at least the age of twelve and then marry them a few years later. But here’s the one problem with their tradition: the bride doesn’t have to be willing.
When Cassidy Jones is kidnapped by Gypsies and is hidden and transferred somewhere else that she can’t even identify, this rumor becomes all too real. She is supposed to be married to Jonathan, the Gypsies’ son, but even their own son is against the bizarre tradition. Cassidy and Jonathan confide in each other, but ways of escape are nearly nonexistent and means of reason are out of the question.
Doing everything they can to stay low and plan ways to get out secretly, Cassidy and Jonathan aren’t sure whether they’ll be able to escape, but the real question is: will they survive?
[THIS IS A WORK OF PURE FICTION, I AM NOT SAYING OR LABELING GYPSIES AND SAYING THAT THEY DO THIS. THE CHARACTERS AND PLOT ARE ALL A WORK OF FICTION.]
