The wind was chill. The temperature was fairly warm and the sky was clear just enough to see the glowing constellations. Everything seems perfect. Except for one thing. And that one thing is my aching heart. Images if Clark and Lois devouring each other faces up flash into my brain. And the ache worsen. It hurts. It hurts a lot to see the one you love kissing someone else. I knew it was too good to be true. I knew that I never had a chance but a part of me told me I could. I knew I shouldn't have listen to it. It would only end up blowing up in my face. And it did. That's why I'm done. I'm done with love. And I'm especially done with life. I'm a disgrace to the superhero community. I'm gay for God sakes. Plus, I can't even capture Joker even if my life depends on it. That why I'm ending it. Once and for all. And in a city overrun with hunky new superheroes with more to hide than just their identities, crazy science teachers threatening to end all life on earth and, well, parents, that might not be the best character trait to have. Mix in the fact that there's a new villain who is as cunning as he is photogenic, a health hazardous best friend and having a massive-not-a-crush on a guy who doesn't even know you have superpowers and this may be the most awkward junior year of high school in history.

Grace Scott's parents, or at least her dad, sends her off to Witchita Academy, a school in Virginia, where fantasy meets reality and super heroes do exist. Grace Scott being a complete pessimist and non-beleiver of any sorts, turns down that a super hero who calls himself "The God" actually exists even after being saved by him.
