«We wake up every morning to fight the same demons that left us tired the night before. And that, Holmes, is bravery.» «Then why...» His baritone voice dragged, as he took a stride closer to her, his blue orbs searching her face for a millionth time that night. His dangerously narrowed eyes scanned her, deducing the life out of her. He hovered above her, in all of his mighty, their chests and faces a breath away. And in that little space he left his words fly «...why don't you ever sleep?" ~ Because Emma Swan knows. She knows that, if she closes her eyes even for a moment, the demons of her past will devour her. In an attempt to escape the horrors she had faced, Emma moves to London, in the apartment 221C. She stumbles upon Sherlock Holmes that first day that began it all, on his first meeting with John Watson. Needless to say, they hardly get along. What happens when, by cruelty of the universe, John and Sherlock move into the flat above her own? Even when a friendship blossoms between her and the two flat mates at 221B Baker Street, much still remains unknown about who Emma truly is. And the answers seem to be particularly hard to obtain, especially when a certain member of the British government does all that is in his power to keep any sort of information away from Sherlock. But Sherlock Holmes is not a man who likes to have unanswered questions. Emma Swan has her secrets, a hidden past and old connections to people who dominate Sherlock's life. And one particular demon hot on her trail who will stop at nothing before he gets her back into his clutches. What will happen? Will Emma allow herself to trust someone for the first time in years, or we she succumb to her old habits and join her demons? ~ HIGHEST RANKING : #5th in BBC Sherlock Love Story #7th in Sherlock Fanfiction ⚠️ WARNING : WILL CONTAIN GRAPHIC VIOLENCE, GORE, MENTION OF SLEEP AND EATING DISORDERS, SMUT, USE OF SUBSTANCES, INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE so please don't sue me I warned y

Our visual, our image, our identity, is something we mould using our hands. It is within our control. However, in an attempt to achieve her aesthetic, to discover her identity, Darya Samuels lost all her control.

From the day they arrive on the planet, and blinking step into the sun, there is more to see than- "Dude, that's the Lion King." "Oh...sorry." "No, whatever just...just try again." The human world, it's a mess. Life- "Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the Little Mermaid." Humans are amazing. They all just go through so much, but you know what's beautiful? When life gets them down, they just keep on swimming. "Stop. That's Finding Nemo. I don't even know where you're going with that one." Everyone controls their own destinies, you don't need magic- "You need to seriously stop quoting Disney." If music be the food of- "Get out." "What?" "Just move over, I'm doing it myself." "Wait, give me-" "Nope. We've been here for an hour. Go away." "But-" "Seriously, Doctor, leave." "Fine." "Alright, let's see..." From the day they are born, humans are hardwired to slowly, but endlessly change. They are given the tools to adapt to whatever environment they choose to live. They don't realize how lucky they are to harness this gift, the gift of change. Humans are small creatures in this vast universe, but they are important. However, despite being given the gift of change, many humans choose to fight it. They don't want the change, so they constantly battle against it. Yet, no one has ever won. Except for me. Well, me and the Doctor. But we don't really fall in the 'human' category. Note: I do not own Doctor Who. All rights to BBC except my own characters. P.S. This is in no way a romance novel. ATTENTION: The first 30 chapters of this book are...not good. I'm rewriting them. Honestly, you won't hurt my feelings if you want to skip over them completely.

BOOK ONE // 9th 10th 11th Fanfiction ~~ 'Who am I?' That is the question Elizabeth Smith has been asking herself since she can remember. Literally. Elisabeth was 5 when she was found, with no memories of what happened before she ended in that sinister alley, in London. She was an orphan. Her chance to start a relatively 'normal' life in the orphanage goes crumbling to pieces due to the strangeness that constantly surrounds her. Soon after her arrival, Elizabeth becomes an outcast. All because of her strangely eery, though beautiful dreams. Dreams about the Daleks, Cybermen and a man in a blue box, travelling through time and space. But are these dreams true? Is the Doctor, the mad man from her dreams, real? That's what she thinks until she meets him. Their encounters go from an accidental meeting on the street to an art exhibition in her room, when he shows up at the orphanage in the middle of the night. What will happen when he'll find out about her dreams? WIll Lizzie finally have her questions answered? About who she is, who her parents were and why they abandoned her with nothing but a strange jammed watch to keep her company? Lizzie will have to travel through time and space, meet people and aliens, friends of the Doctor and all of his different regenerations. All under a false identity, in an attempt to prevent a collapse in the time's continuum. What will happen when she will fall in love with her childhood hero, as she bounces from timeline to timeline and discovers things about his past? She'll have to figure this all out as quickly as she can, for she doesn't have much time left: with every second that passes, her end crawls closer and closer...
