Pennywise hated demons, their violent minds and their teleportation and manipulating ways. He always hated the eyes and mouths of demons. He always had this feeling of a grudge on demons, even though they never actually hurt him. Babadook always knew Pennywise hated him, but did he care? No. Babadook never cared what Pennywise ever thought about him. He always had this evil feeling around Pennywise. But love has its surprises. Because after baba loses his powers and has to get them back, Pennywise and Babadook realized that they make a great team.
