Dallas Andrews is a military brat that can't even remember where she's originally from. A month after she starts high school her family is uprooted yet again, her father gets based in Fort Lewis so the Andrews family resides in Seattle. On her first day at her new school she gets a month worth of Saturday detentions. While serving her detentions she meets a senior named Frank, they become fast friends then quickly become more. As the school year closes Dallas learns that her family is moving yet again but this time they aren't staying stateside. Dallas is heartbroken at the idea of breaking up with the guy she's crazy about. Fast forward eight years, Dallas is twenty two and moved out to LA. While working in a bar she meets a guy that claims to have known her since she was in the ninth grade but this guy isn't Frank, his name is Nikki. Although Frank and Nikki are the same person is he the same person that Dallas was in love with? After all eight years is a long time.

TJ is small town and hates it. Her brother Axl left for LA when she was seventeen, leaving her with an abusive stepdad and unknowing mother. After finishing high school, TJ moves out to LA as well. Living in the same city as her brother for almost four years with out seeing him once, things start to unravel, all starting with meeting this bass player from Seattle. Is this jungle as bad as it seems or will TJ be swallowed alive by the city and her brother?

Summary: Frank and Paige have known each other practically their whole lives. They went to preschool together, spent weekends at each other's houses, and were always seen as brother and sister. They were as close as two friends could ever be. But no matter how close they were, there was one thing that Paige could never tell Frank; she was in love with him. "Even though he was my best friend and I felt like I could tell him anything, there would always be one thing about me that Frank would never know."
