John Egbert is just a normal boy without a voice, and his life is suddenly changed when he becomes the target of a blood-thirsty Dave Strider, who's interest becomes peaked after nearly killing the little one, and a bromance begins between the two. Honhonhon, will the bromance stay a bromance? Or will it become something else entirely? [It starts out with John at six years old for a backstory, but it will only last for one chapter. He will end up being sixteen]

But okay, to actually sum it up, kind of like a summary~ Dave and Bro are together- (not romantically all you sinners) but surviving together- and are trying to live in the harsh inhumane world. One day though, they encounter two peculiar hunters, one of them grows to despise the two Striders, Dave especially. The other, well something rather strange and interesting ensues instead, I guess you'll just have to read the story to find out more. Four years ago, Dave Strider was kidnapped by scientist. Leaving is best friend John Egbert alone. Four years later. A thing of the news about a sudden bird boy appears and he looks exactly the past friend of John.

John is the new kid, with everything that comes with that title; awkwardness, shyness, and attempts to make friends. Except all of this is made even worse with the fact that he's deaf. Dave is your stereotypical resident coolkid. Except he's not. He's a huge nerd, but most people find him intimidating, what with his shades and the fact that he doesn't talk to anyone. Or rather, that he can't talk to anyone, being mute. The two get paired together and form a close bond quite quickly, to the surprise of most of the school, but to none of their friends'. ((I really suck at descriptions. Also, updates for this aren't set, so be prepared for longish waits between chapters or several at a time.))
