He wants to help his soon to be people and when he gets in an argument with his mother, Leia Organa, about marriage he runs away. He wants to marry for love, not be just another king worried about his wealth and only his health. Ben poses as a begger, but runs into trouble in the make shift streets of Jakku and is saved by a young scavenger named Rey.
