Theses rebels are called închis seraph or 'the enemy'. Xenia a human under the control of The Elders is and is to marry the prince who is next in line to become an Elder. However as she learns more about the prince and the elders she doubts who to trust. Memories of her life before 'The Elders' and 'The War' start to resurface. The more she remembers the closer danger approaches from The Elders and maybe even the prince.
