A girl haunted by her nightmares, awakes to a world she does not understand. On the run, a man named Ben comes to her aid and they begin an unlikely friendship. Two polar opposites who are trying to stay alive in a world gone mad, when the girl is hospitalised she begins to wonder if she is losing her mind, or are there bigger things that even she cannot see controlling them. As the dead begin to rise and those few remaining survivors become less and less, the girl will have to understand the nightmares and fit the pieces of the puzzle together quickly before she too becomes a lost pawn
