Atlas. The beauty of him is indescribable, painstakingly captivating and powerful. The dominance glittering in those darkened eyes and the angry clench in his jaw demands all attention, leaving no room for vulnerability. He is inhuman, crafted with so much care and detail that the handiwork can be only that of angels, tears of joy escaping the brilliant orbs that are their eyes at the glorious sight of him. But he is cruel, twisted and icy towards those beneath him and softening him is a task no one has the power to accomplish. Aria is a free spirit, one that desires freedom and craves the power to make her own way of life without interference from others. Being owned by someone is the last thing she wants, but apparently fate possessed enough cruelty to bind her to him forever.

A nuisance. A terrible nuisance. That's all vampires were for hundreds of years. Before that they were unknown, but as a couple sightings started to leak from stories, to actual sightings that's all they became. Well that wasn't any fun, was it? What happens when a virus practically wipes out all of humanity, save for the vampires, but then again were they really humanity to begin with? The humans that didn't die were forced to come to vampires for the antidote, but even that came at a cost. Now vampires rule the word with basically no rebellion. If you're human, have a kind master, and aren't dead you're considered lucky. Lucky, not something every human has quite accepted.

**UNDER CONSTRUCTION - This was written in 7th grade and I'm now graduated from high school with a few college credits under my belt. I'm fixing all of it.** A shiver raced down my spine and the air thickened. The other end of the alleyway wasn't far, but it didn't seem to be coming closer no matter how fast I walked. Humoring my paranoia, I glanced over my shoulder just in time to catch a fist to the face. I dropped to my hands and knees and stared at the ground in a daze. My jaw throbbed with each beat of my heart, hammering the side of my face. Strong hands gripped me and dragged me backward. We made considerable progress toward the other end of the alleyway before my dazed mind caught up with reality. I was being kidnapped.
