It's been several months after the Cataclysm event took place in Vale and Nix Spherule is in his second year at Beacon. Now, part of Beacons elite security force, he and his team fight to keep the city safe from harm. But when Nix is framed for a crime he didn't commit, he goes on the run, leaving his friends behind to pick sides. But when his village is destroyed by an unknown Grimm, he learns why they should be feared firsthand. Vowing to never let Grimm cause such chaos again, Nix travels to Beacon, where with the help of his new friends, they discover a threat not just to Vale, but to all of humanity.

Its been a month sense Nix had vanished, The Grimm Walker meeting its end in Forever Fall. For Yang and her friends, things have never been the same. But times are changing, and as they dive deeper into the Grimm Walker legend they realize that some things refuse to die, and that some threats are never truly gone.
