A group of scientists are doing research in the North Pole when they find a hidden cave and suddenly; all go missing. A military squad comes to check it out and finds ancient writing about mythical beasts on the cave walls. Another squad comes and gets a video of the beasts. 50 soldiers go there to fight, they then learn that the mythical beasts are actually hundreds of Griffins that camouflage themselves. Now they must see who will survive. Will it be the Griffins? Or will it be the soldiers?

However Autumn has been raised by Artemis: the 'goddess of the hunt'. Even though Autumn has been brought up among the huntresses of Artemis, she has yet to take the oath to become one herself. One day, a trio of demigods barges into the camp in search of help. The demigods require allies to help take down a gang of rogue Cyclopes and rescue their friends. However Autumn questions whether the quest is as simple as it has been said to be. One of the three demigods seems to be withholding certain information that could be crucial to the quest and to the survival of the group. Is this quest a simple rescue mission? Or will it take the group into a whole new, unknown world? In the end; will Autumn take the oath and officially join Artemis for good: thereby devoting her life to the hunt and swearing off men for eternity? Or will she choose the life that the demigods advertise? Leading to a life of quests and the possibility of her taking her rightful place alongside her mysterious birth family. Thereby taking her rightful place among the stars and drawing from the power of the night?
