"I wanted to be a hero once. I once wanted to be the adored idol of the masses who everyone could count on to save the day," I admit. He continues to look at me expectantly, as if what I was about to say was tantamount to knowing the many secrets of the universe. If only my past hopes were the secrets of the universe then maybe I wouldn't disappoint. "But then I realized that it was impossible," I continue. "A true super-hero was something I could never be, not even if I tried with all my might or even if I wanted it more than anything else in this entire world." Though his face is masked one thing stands out clear as the day; piercing emerald eyes that seem as if they're staring right through me. As if they're staring right into me. I don't dare move under his gaze, as if hypnotized and frozen in place, just like the very first time, until I'm snapped back into reality when a question leaves his mouth. "Why is that?" His gaze doesn't leave me. If anything, it intensifies. I can't tell whether this is a part of his power or not, but either way it holds me down as if I couldn't leave--as if I didn't wan't to leave. So I don't, instead, I answer his question with a truth he cannot escape from. A truth he cannot twist against me nor deny. Why can I not be a true superhero, he wonders. Why? "Because a 'true super-hero' can save everyone." All rights reserved. ©Sierra-Night 2016-2017

[Soon by WATTPAD BOOKS] In the prestigious race of stars, Sozo must hide the truth of who she is or pay with her life, but her blossoming relationship with the most talented competitor threatens everything she's worked for. ***** Every ten years, the lucky chosen bond with stars and race to win a wish. Any wish. Sozo is one of the lucky chosen, but she has a secret: as an Omen -- cursed beings that can transform into monsters -- she's forbidden from competing. Discovery would mean her death. Can she hope to keep her identity a secret, let alone win the race, especially as the talented and sunny Naqi enters the picture? When Sozo is given an ultimatum, she has to choose: betray her Omen people, or betray the people who are slowly, surely, becoming like a family to her. --- WATTYS AWARD 2020 "Bar none, this was [Senior Editorial Specialist] Amanda's absolute favourite read from the Wattys this year. It makes you cry, just from pure, uncontainable joy, and the ending kept us reading until nearly 6am. Everything about this story is beautiful. We were astounded that anyone could create something so magnificent and moving and magical. This level of storytelling mastery will never not blow us away." [Word Count: 70,500]

After bursting onto the fantasy scene with his acclaimed debut novel, Elantris, and following up with his blockbuster Mistborn trilogy, Brandon Sanderson proves again that he is today’s leading master of what Tolkien called “secondary creation,” the invention of whole worlds, complete with magics and myths all their own. Warbreaker is the story of two sisters, who happen to be princesses, the God King one of them has to marry, the lesser god who doesn’t like his job, and the immortal who’s still trying to undo the mistakes he made hundreds of years ago. Their world is one in which those who die in glory return as gods to live confined to a pantheon in Hallandren’s capital city and where a power known as BioChromatic magic is based on an essence known as breath that can only be collected one unit at a time from individual people. By using breath and drawing upon the color in everyday objects, all manner of miracles and mischief can be accomplished. It will take considerable quantities of each to resolve all the challenges facing Vivenna and Siri, princesses of Idris; Susebron the God King; Lightsong, reluctant god of bravery, and mysterious Vasher, the Warbreaker.

Sooo.... yeah, I re-wrote the optimum project, I hope this works. The re-write is VERY different from the original, it adds more 'beef' to the characters and locations, and actually has a bit of a plot arc. Characters will love, lie, steal, cheat, die, and interact like never before, they will have more emotion (He says excitedly).

Fin is a more or less normal teenage boy living in the kingdom known as Lenseia. Well, normal as in there really isn't anything special about him. He's relatively weak, not exactly ugly but definitely not handsome, and definitely not good at remembering the swordplay sequences he's supposed to have memorized to become a knight. But, well, as things do in this sort of story, that all changes when he finds the baby dragon...
