"642 Things to Write About" is a book written collectively by the San Francisco Writers' Grotto; a grotto of which I am unfortunately not a part of. However, upon purchasing the book, I've decided to improve my craft by completing one page a day until I make it through the whole thing. I will allot my self some days off, but for the most part I wanna see this to the end. "642 Responses to Things" are all short stories in response to the prompts found in the book and run the gamut from action, sci-fi, horror, mystery, comedy etc... It's something to keep my mind sharp and hopefully something to keep you entertained. Enjoy these 642 things, and may they inspire you to write your own things no matter the quantity of things you wish to write.

You'll learn more about how to structure your stories, how to write great sentences that pull readers in and how to write characters that people will relate to and want to follow. A note on how this book is organized: The first eight chapters are devoted to the fundamentals you need to know to be able to craft stories that will draw readers in.
