Alice Bowman and Zoey Chase have been best friends since birth. They do absolutely everything together, dating being the only exception. But they don't even do that. These two girls are even the two most popular girls in their school. No, not just their school, their city. They're like local pop stars, and for many reasons. The first reason is probably their drop dead gorgeous looks that any supermodel would kill for. The second reason is their families wealth. Both girls come from families with CEOs as parents. Mansions, a staff, nice cars, everything handed to them. Boys worshiping the ground they walk on for some hope of getting one of the girls into bed. Girls begging them for a moment of their time because they know that if one of these two girls talk to them, they'd be promoted crazy high popularity. Now, I've told you about what they have, but I never said that they want any of it. Because they don't. They don't want the popularity or the high amounts of money or the attention that they receive. They're just two simple best friends who have way too much unwanted drama on their plates.

Voted "Most Likely to Join the Circus" consecutively by Killian High's past three 2009-2011 published yearbooks, and as said by practically every person in the entire school, Derek Wells is the school's ultimate class clown. Seriously, if you're ever in need of a good laugh just go to him and he'll have you clapping your hands and shaking with quiet laughter like some dumb seal. The biggest joke of all to him was love. What was that? It was just some mushy, four-letter word that somehow could make a girl either swoon or cry or slap you in the face depending on the circumstances. So when Derek puts on his newly-acquired glasses for the first time in school, he doesn't expect to see Gwen, one of his closest friends, in a completely different light. Suddenly when she smiles, it feels as if something is crawling around in his stomach and he isn't sure if it's the suspicious crab he had for dinner the night before or gas. When Derek confesses his feelings to her, of course she's going to take it as one big joke. It seems that "the funniest kid in the school" can't say those three words without having someone wait expectantly for the punch line. Will Derek prove to Gwen that he can be serious when he needs to be? Or will she just wind up laughing in his face?

"I think you look cute drunk and not just because you're admitting that you have Sponge Bob boxers," I said with a mock tone. Though I found it was more amusing then anything. "August you should put tape on your mouth," He said amusingly. "My name is April dumb ass, you're like five months behind," I shout as my anger goes up and my annoyance for him coming out. He ignores my comment and backs me up against the wall with a dangerous look in his eyes. "You know I wouldn't mind showing them to you," he whispered, before kissing me. April Courtney Greene is everything but normal. She seems to find a kick in making people run from her. When a certain ice cream shop is hiring she signs up quick, since the place is like a home to her. Like seriously, who would pass up eating the best ice cream in town for free? But when April meets Elliot Anderson she finds that she can't even stand to be in the same room as him. The more she tries to make him run away, the more he keeps running to her. This bad boy doesn't seem to leave her alone for one minute. April sees him all over town and now at her school. Moving in with her dad is becoming a nightmare as her soon to be step sister is trying to make her life hell and her step brother Howard seems to be in a miss understanding spot with her. April never thought that working in an ice cream shop would make her be in so many sticky situations.
