He's always been awkward in social aspects and not much of a people person...Until he is set up with Ink. Ink's bright personality gives Error a new feeling he's never had. And while he gets to know the happy-go-lucky guy, he also learns that Ink has his own demons to fight. Error is anti-social and quiet. Ink is vibrant, colorful, creative, and friendly, not to mention loud sometimes. They act like total opposites. Yet they say opposites attract. But... can opposites also heal each other?

Traumatic experience unknown, Patient 404 seems to have no memory of it or anything about his life before he was found wandering around city streets a few weeks before his arrival here at Marlowe Children's Mental Hospital. After the monsters win the monster/human war, most humans are whipped out, monsters taking over. Now, in the year 2113, Frisk and Chara are two of the few humans left in BlightView: one of the monster capital of the world, ruled over by King W.D Gaster, with his adoptive son, Dream, by his side. But like anything, the Castle holds many dark secrets of its own... And of course, nothing is as it seems in the city as well, as it is that most people who don't live in or near the city centre have it extremely rough, all being treated roughly and unfairly, living in poor conditions. A rebellion is soon formed in the "slums", the outskirts of BlightView, run by Error, along with other misfits, like small, rundown Sans, who lives with a grieving Asgore outside of the city, and an enraged Cross, who wishes for nothing more than revenge, and young Killer, a boy who grew up in the slums without parents and a strange medical condition. Even after encountering a possible mermaid, he refused to believe it was one, but after an old friend of his introduced him to a deal, the WWKingdom offered he couldn't pass it up. The kingdom offered money to anyone who found a mermaid. Error certainly couldn't pass the deal up, knowing he out of any other person could find one, and so he set out on his journey to retrieve a mermaid. Once he had captured one, things started taking a dark turn. Their relationship started as a fight over dominance which Error knew he couldn't win, though it quickly turned into flirting and then actually loving each other.
