A poem I had done as an assignment in class. It is a remake of the poem Hanging Fire by Audre Lorde. It does contain the same format and amount of lines, so in that sense, all credit goes to the original author.

It didn't matter that I could perfect oil painting techniques. It didn't matter that I had a healthy diet and tried my best to exercise. None of it mattered.
