Dan is the senior that everyone looks up to, he is charming, witty and sometimes even nice. Phil is the sophomore that is constantly being bullied for being who he his, a boy who likes boys. Roles seem to switch when Dan saves Phil's life, and finds himself falling for the younger boy. Dan is the new target for torment and beatings. But unlike Phil, Dan doesn't handle it very well, and finds himself spiraling downhill, with what seems like no way back to the top.

Phil me contou que tinha uma canal, Amazingphil, ele mora com um amigo dele, Dan Howell ou Danisnotonfire. Vou admitir, eu já gostei de Phil, ele é lindo. Os seus olhos azuis, seu cabelo preto, seu jeito fofo e carinhoso... Ele apareceu na minha vida em um momento sensível, meus pais se separaram e eu não conseguia aceitar isso, mas adivinha quem me ajudou a superar! O Phil, comentei com ele que eu vou morar na Inglaterra e ele disse que eu podia ficar lá na casa dele o tempo que precisar. Sera que vou finalmente conhece los?!
