The nightmares should have stopped after they got to the surface, but now he has them more frequently than he did before, leaving him exhausted and haunted by his past. Alphys locks herself up in the true lab and contemplate over turning core off or letting it run, and the decision to shut the core down or leave it running, because shutting it down could expel a powerful energy wave that could possibly destroy the Underground, but then she found something very interesting. She found that she could communicate with some other being using the core and her technology as a linkage to the void who makes the decision for her. Undyne worries about why Alyphs locked herself in her lab again. She would usually just wait for her to come out leaning against the wall of the lab waiting for the nervous lizard to emerge.
