Denis Stoff is asked to be the new lead singer of Asking Alexandria, however he develops a crush on his band mate Ben. Ben is trying to get over his ex-boyfriend, Danny Worsnop, who is also the ex-singer, and rejects Denis, but Denis is not gonna give in.

Danny Worsnop has just left Asking Alexandria, leaving the four remaining members (especially Ben) in an agitated and lonely state, especially since he was Ben's fiancée. Now Ben is starting up his Reckless and Relentless cycle again: drinking, lots of partying, drugs and so many girls, even though he's bi and more into guys. Sex is just sex, right? Mute. That's what they would call him. Alan Ashby has been mute for 1 years not speaking to nobody because he had no one simply to speak to. After his parents nearly shunned him as soon as he came out of the closet. He didn't have anyone no family nor friends to talk with. He has absolutely nothing. That was until Austin Carlile came along. He was the star baseball player at the school who happened to be openly gay and no one minded really, sure there was the few people at the school who would call him a 'fag' but he didn't care because he was happy with who he was as a person. Then everything almost shifted. He ran into some boy who caught his attention. The 'mute' kid that no one talked to. He quickly gained interest in the little ginger and wanted to befriend him or maybe something more but first he needed to find out exactly why the ginger was mute in the first place.

Alan thinks he's going to be spending all summer on his own, until his older brother's friend, Austin, finds a way into his life. Together, they begin a series of secret trips at night, when neither can sleep.
