"I want to do something big for this world," she said. Julianne Rowe knows very little about the world beyond the small countryside town she has grown up in. This story dives into her life every autumn as she learns all about how to grow up in a small place and still thrive in the big world. Note from the author: The setting was based off of a dream! I'm not exactly sure where the dream was supposed to take place from, but my guess is that it was from Chantré, Burgundy, which had an equestrian center on one side and a castle outbuilding at the end. "Julianne", however, takes place not in France near a castle outbuilding, but in a small rural part of the American countryside. Don't forget to vote and comment! Thank-you! :)

In which a girl who hides behind baggy sweaters and a fake smile is forced to learn that 'perfection' doesn't come easily, and being skinny isn't always worth the pain. "she cried herself to sleep that night, because deep down she knew that no matter how many meals she skipped and how much exercise she did, Olivia would never be skinny."
