All of a sudden, everything seemed to be spiraling out of control. Mysterious letters from an even more enigmatic figure began to find their way to me. The pressure to lead began to mount. And on top of it all, I'm grappling with a relationship that can never work. What do I do about it all? How can I meet everyone else's needs? What about my own? The story continues where Paw Force - Birth of a New Era left off. Read it first or you'll be lost. The pups face some of their greatest challenges. Zuma is the water rescue pup of the paw patrol. And he has a problem. He's gay, but there's a female pup who's in the paw patrol, well partially, who won't stop trying to get with him. Tuck, the brother of this pup who won't stop trying to woo Zuma, is determined to help him tell Ella of his sexuality. But Tuck gets closer to Zuma than expected and realizes he's gay himself, though he never really explored his sexuality. Together the two will explore it.

After Steve, the new mayor of Adventure Bay, announced that the PAW Patrol is making worse the city's development and economy, the pups are separated, and each begins a new life.
