I heard his footsteps behind me, or more the slamming of his feet against the sidewalk as he ran after me. I let a smile take over my lips for a split second, as the tears started to stream on down my face. There was a part of me that wanted to stop, and just hug and kiss him like nothing had happend. But there was another part, that wanted to keep running from as long as my legs would carry me. I didn't know how dominate that part was, but that part of me never wanted to see his face again.
