Preview chapter (rough draft) Necromancers were once humans but are now mysterious creatures that make a pilgrimage through a small village in Lornfell every year, from Castle Lornfell to the ruins of Astis and back again. A young woman named Ren had always been drawn to one of the creatures, one which has the head of a deer skull. Trying to seek him out one day, she learns that he had made a serious mistake in his work. He reawakened the wrong body. Now alive and very confused, a young prince from a long fallen royal family of Lornfell questions why his family fell from power and why his life was taken so early. Curious themselves, Ren and the necromancer agree to help him.
