Break Off is a Sci-Fi story about the realities of space flight and where we will go once technology permits. I have published one scene, it is the exciting Space Freighter Hijack in zero g, at 24,000 mph.

Makabah is a Sci-Fi story about where we as a species came from and where we are going. This portion of the story is the intro and a work in progress. I used elements and characters from my previous story the Unmoved Mover as I try to further the possibilities of this fictional realm.

Before the beginning, in complete stasis and white space, a black abstract exists above, traveling parallel to dimension. At the first boundary, it reflected inward creating a new shape of two, but still connected as one. At the next boundary, the split abstract reflected inward again, completing its shape, a perfect black triangle parallel to the white space.

Lt. Griffon is wrongfully incarcerated at Rikers Island Prison Barge while the city of New York is devastated by a deadly virus. He must survive extreme violence, hunger and thirst before a daring escape into the post-apocalyptal Manhattan landscape now dominated by scavenging gangs and cannibals.

Stavenly awoke in darkness as pain pulsed from the back of his skull. He heard a voice traveling through the dark but the coherency of the words fell short of his ears. His head nodded and he slipped back into the foggy dream. Cover art by Aditya Mewati.
