Growing up Jodie was caught up in her parents domestic violence and the loss of her birth father to cancer, freeing her mother from an abusive relationship whom then remarried to a very wealthy CEO of a renowned car dealership, as a newly formed family unit they finally began a happy, wealthy & pampered lifestyle however money brought a lot of unwanted attention throughout high school which lead to jealousy and bullying, one escape route Jodie used throughout being bullied at high school and to escape her recollections of her father was music from an underground MC Eminem. Jodie was a young avid fan from the release of Infinite before his big blow up thanks to her best friend Karlie who had family from Detroit that put them both onto him. Shortly after Karlie and Jodie turn 18 Eminem finally catches his big break and embarks on the Anger Management Tour in which both Jodie and Karlie seize the opportunity to see the man in flesh performing in Manchester. Little did Jodie know this faithful night was about to change her life forever... For everything a reason, right? Christina ‚Chris' Adler and her best friend Naina Milen are the owners of an escort service for high class clients. After working together for almost ten years they decided to open their own business. Today the two only take booking requests if the client is willing to pay a ridiculous amount of money for their company. Marshall's daughter Hailie volunteers at a community arts center as part of a school project. One day, she brings home a copy of a zine made by the teens - raw poetry and short stories. Curious, Marshall flips through it and is unexpectedly moved by the writing. He notices the editor's name: Kate Caldwell. Later, when Hailie invites him to a small event at the center, he meets Kate in person. She recognizes him, but doesn't fan over him - in fact, she's blunt and unimpressed by celebrity. Her disinterest is disarming, and it draws him in. They begin a slow friendship. Kate, still dealing with the fallout from her own past, is wary of trust. Marshall sees a kindred spirit in her - someone who knows pain, reinvention, and how words can both heal and destroy. Is there any chance for them?
