Jerome is at the height of his career as a United Nations Operative, his noble job has his skills placed on the line in low profile deployments all across the highly destabilized regions of the African Continent. Regardless of whether the public is aware of his actions, it is safe to say his dedication continues to ensure the stability of civilized society, even as the ongoing threat of a resource depleted Earth and Global Warming threatens to undermine all efforts. As an Operative, he is content with his place as a productive member of the special forces community in a world heading into an uncertain future. Until a mysterious rift appears in the icy wastelands of Antarctica, connecting our world to another beyond it, adding another variable, and perhaps perspective to his carefully crafted way of life.

What is living ? That question has been wandering around young (Y/N) (L/N)'s mind for years. Waking up to the sounds of artillery fire every morning, hoping that the shells won't land anywhere near him. Hearing the sound of the whistle that determines wether he could live to see another day as he and countless other men went to go over the top. Hearing the rapid ear shattering sounds of machine gun fire, praying that he won't get hit. It is a life of a soldier they say.... Then, the question comes again. Is it really living ? Is this life really worth living ? Or is (Y/N) really just a dead man that doesn't even know that he's already dead yet ? Helplessly clinging onto his seemingly worthless life as he waits for his impending demise. But everything comes down to one simple question. Is this world really worth living in ? A world full of war and death. But what if.... What if he was to be given a second chance ? A second world to live in. Will it be any better ? Or will it be the same ? Or maybe even worse ?
