Ayame was born into a dwindling bloodline. The Hoshino clan, once known for their powerful weather-wielders, had nearly faded into obscurity after their jutsu became difficult to control and too dangerous during wartime. After the Third Shinobi War, the clan was all but forgotten-preferring isolation to avoid further tragedy. Ayame was the first in generations to inherit the Tenki no Me, and her early life was marked by fear and isolation. Her emotions directly influenced the weather around her: when she cried, storms formed. When she was angry, lightning split trees. Her parents, though loving, were terrified for her and of her. She was trained from a young age to control both her chakra and her heart. Emotional discipline became her shield, her identity. This control kept others at a distance and made her seem cold or detached, but it was survival. Shikamaru x oc

"Human beings are vile, nasty creatures. Blood thirsty. Evil by their very nature. That is was we were told. By them. Humans relished for millennia in systematically destroying one another. Our innate yearning for violence lead to not only the destruction of ourselves, but of our planet. Our home. Our planet was dead, our species nearly extinct, so we left. Those who survived dreamed of finding a new planet, a safe haven where we could start over. But our technology was failing and we never made it to our destination. We were adrift in space. Destined to die in the emptiness of the universe. It was luck that the Morrí heard the signal broadcasting. It was altruism that they came to our aid. It was their generosity that provided a home and a life for the remaining humans. They were our saviors. Without the Morrí, the last of humankind would have perished along with a broken vessel. That, at least, was the version of history we were taught. Humans had to earn their place among the Morrí. Humans must prove themselves. Humans are not to be trusted due to our volatile nature. Humans owed their very existence to their Morrí superiors." Keep your head down and survive. Don't attract the attention of our Saviors. Lena has spent her life following the rules set forth by her father to avoid any conflict with the alien race who saved humanity. It's worked for the most part, until a chance encounter leads to her becoming entangled in a dangerous game of politics and war between Morrí leaders. All of her perceptions of the race she's served her whole life are challenged as she's forced to put her trust in one who she's always considered an enemy.

I will be writing this story slowly as it is inspired by a DnD I host. I hope you will enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing it!~ Along with the DnD this was based on this series has taken a break. the break might end up being permanent. I'm sorry about this but the interrest was not big enough sadly.

“Who we are, and the purpose that binds us, has been observed and misinterpreted by many over time. These people saw us as exotic, powerful, and dangerous. They weren’t wrong. But that’s because they could never understand where our power comes from or why we have it. So eventually we became feared and then marginalized. We had to learn to blend in. We live as humans do now.” When Eoin travels to his hometown in rural Ireland, he thinks it’s just a short visit between getting his degree and a brilliant future. But the people back home have other ideas. They claim him as a member of an order that he's been destined to join since birth. Confusion and disbelief quickly turn to horror when Eoin learns what he is now expected to do, and the lengths they are willing to go to make sure that he does. Eoin escapes to New York, only to find himself face to face with the very thing he desperately tried to avoid. Niamh is counting down the days until she graduates high school and starts college in Ireland. She is eager to leave her small New Jersey town behind, but she has no idea how big her world is about to become. When she happens to meet Eoin one night in New York City, the connection hurls them both into the center of a conflict that spans time and space. Together, they learn how truly powerful knowledge can be. When the full force of that power is turned against them, they must find a way to overcome things they cannot understand. As the shadowy figures of myth wreak some very real havoc on their modern lives, failure means death for one and devastation for the other, but neither can foresee the epic implications of their struggle.

This is a contest designed to help expose your novel to the greater Wattpad community. Whether you just joined Wattpad or have been an active member for years, the sole purpose of this contest is to assist in the recognition of your book. NBR'S CURRENT CHAMPION REVIEWER: @LLMontez Testimony: I am floored at the level of amazing analysis, it was like having a large group of beta readers. - @h_coyle Because of all of you and NBR, my story is now ranking in fantasy and continues to climb! - @ktflynn Being spotlighted on NBR helped my story SO much! I got some incredibly useful tips and my story even made it to the What's Hot list in the Romance genre! - @AmeVicky02 I was overwhelmed - I can honestly say this is the most thorough feedback I've been given on anything I've ever written (tears up) - @twin_cities Being in the spotlight is cray to the zay! I was overwhelmed with the amount of positive, helpful, and inspiring comments we received. The NBR contest is full of amazing people and is really cool to be a part of. - @KaraMichelleBooks I can't even begin to explain how hard it was to choose a winner and two runner ups. I want to keep you all chained under my bed so I can trade you food and water for feedback. - @cjbirch The feedbacks were awesome! Grammatical errors. Sentence structures. Flow. Descriptions. Everything has been so useful in helping me understand how I can improve. Some of you really put in so much effort to break it down it's unbelievable. - @JovyLow6 Previous featured authors were lying when they said it was difficult to choose a winner--because it's not difficult, it's near to impossible!!! - @PipSqueeks88 Not only do these rounds help expose me to new authors but critiquing others' works makes me think of my own work in different ways and how to improve it.. - @consciousdreamer1 Not exaggerating, this has been some of the best advice I've ever received from readers - @Holly_Gonzalez
