It's just a regular mission for SHIELD agents Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff. Bust some heads, take the illegal objects, and put people in jail. Pretty simple right? Wrong. The first and foremost is his eyes, the second is his past, and the third is his edgy attitude around water. The Avengers wonder just who this kid is. And oh boy, will they find out. What happens when mortals and demigods meet Percabeth? I know it's really overdone, but these stories are my favourite and I wanted to give it a try! Percy knelt before three of the gods. His hair was messy and his skin pale. His eyes were red rimmed and puffy and his cheeks tear stained. "Percy? What are you doing here so late?" Lady Hera asked. "I have a request." Percy said in a croaky voice. "Anything for the saviour of Olympus." Lady Hestia replied immediately. "I wish to die." When Annabeth breaks Percy's heart and turns everyone against him, he begs Artemis, Hestia and Hera to kill him. Not wanting their favourite hero to die, they give him a new purpose to live. As the hunts new guardian.

To be kept away from the Olympians, she was sent to the mortal world to live in camp half-blood. In the camp, she was a freak, the one who was too good. In that moment she hid away from the judging spotlight and stayed in the shadows, were evil pondered. Annabeth always wondered of evil voice inside her mind biding and persuading her to evil, with a growing hunger for bloodlust. Her life changed when a strange boy with eyes that softened at her gaze. Fire and ice. The boy who guided her away from darkness, into the light. Completing quests and becoming heroes. But nothing can go well in the mundane world, many lives change on Annabeth's birthday she will have her friends fighting for her, prying her away from Luke's clutches. But will the stench and touch of Kronos be her undoing? And send her to the depths of the shadows? Or will a confident seaweedbrain change hearts and prophecy's?

At first going to the party seemed like a good idea, it sounded like a great way to start the summer holidays, a way to ease their minds and finally relax after yet another hard year of school.
