A year later after graduation, it's out with the old high school days, but Eli finds himself in a dilemma after being dumped by his girlfriend, Haley. People say that when you have an unfinished business your soul will stay lingering on this world until you resolve whatever you have to do. And they are right. In my case: I have to tell my best friend I'm in love with her. Long ago I made a promise I would never leave without expressing my feelings, and I'm planning on keeping that promise; even if I'm dead, even if I have to hide in another body just to be around her. I know I'll tell her. {AU fan fiction-1D} - AU stands for Alternative Universe- Trailer by @tomlinschievous

coffee cake (n): a class of cakes intended to be eaten alongside coffee "She was like the coffee cakes you steal away at breakfast, the ones that stand alone without coffee to drink, the ones that are so sweet they rot your teeth from the inside before you realize. She was my coffee cake, but now she's my cavity." +=+=+=+=+ An experiment in writing. This project is all about reader interaction. It's the 21st century, so why can't readers get a little more control over what they read? It's time to change that. With this book, I will start and complete a full-length story based on crowd sourced suggestions. The catch? I will be speeding through the project and writing as fast as humanly possible, so readers will be able to see their suggestions come to life almost immediately. Don't worry, the quality won't suffer much. I've honed my writing and did one of those fancy college thingies for about four years, so I'll keep it as engaging as possible with as few major errors as possible. Anyone who wants to contribute or suggest an idea is welcome to leave a comment. If you ever thought about a story idea that you want to read but won't ever write, come make it happen with this book! I will incorporate as many as I can without turning the story into a joke, and hopefully everyone will win at the end! Learn more about this project inside!

The year is 1965: a year thrumming with promise and hope and change all around the globe. But for two people, change seems out of the question. Their worlds are rigid, stuck, fixed—and completely contradictory to one another. Holly is a frazzled and reclusive mess from the wrong side of the tracks—well, the wrong side of everything, really—struggling to keep herself afloat as she copes with the loss of her nursing school scholarship two years before. Simon, on the other hand, is charming, arrogant, smart-mouthed and spoiled rotten—the only thing he has ever wanted for is a pair of proper lungs, as his own have been slowly ruined by the effects of Cystic Fibrosis. When Holly joins a peculiar non-profit agency in hope for nursing experience, their worlds are suddenly conjoined a little too close for comfort. Through bickering, old maps, collect calls and a great many letters, Holly and Simon are intertwined in a journey to find a future they never knew existed, suspended in the transience of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
