His Shadow is called to her, and takes her to Neverland, where she gets her freedom. And when you give an evil boy an innocent girl, opposites attract. I love the TV series, but I think Peter Pan should get to love somebody, so here's who and here's how they fell in love, as I believe it should go. Amily has escaped the suffocating hell that is Pan's tight grasp over Neverland... only to find herself in the company of pirates. And not just any pirates. Amily has made it onto the deck of the Jolly Roger, captained by the most infamous pirate of all, Captain Hook himself. Will the swashbuckling charmer be a handy ally or just one more person that Amily must escape? "Hook, what's happening?" Amily stood beside the captain at the helm. His hands held it with white knuckles. The pirate said nothing. He just stared out into the open water, expressionless, his mouth a tight line. Neverland loomed in front of them like a giant sea creature. Wordless, Hook handed her the telescope from his belt. Amily looked through it, confused. At first all she could see was the white sand of the beach. And then she saw it. A message drawn into the sand. Beside it, lay Charlie's lifeless body. Amily had no cares for village life. But when she loses her father everything changes and suddenly life is a bleak pit of nothingness. Every night she would pray for something, anything, to happen that would replace the emptiness her father left behind. One night her prayers were answered. In a dream a boy comes to her and stands at her window. He tells her that there's a place she can go, to be rid of all this. To start a new life. "What's this place called?" asked Amily curious. The boy grinned mischievously. "Neverland" The name rang through her head and filled her with a giddy joy. Even the name sounded magical. She smiled. "How do I get there?" she asked persistently. "Trust the shadow and whatever you do, don't fight it" was all he said.
