They dream of meeting, though doubt it will ever happen. When Dan is forced to move to a new town, the seemingly impossible becomes possible. Phil Lester has been bullied constantly for as long as he can remember, one day he decided that self harm may help him cope with the other pain. After another session of getting beat up, the new kid, Dan Howell, ran up and helped Phil. Dan couldn't stand seeing someone as innocent (and attractive) like Phil be hurt like he had been. The two boys start to gain more feelings for each other, but neither of them know if the feelings are reciprocated, until a certain incident. WARNING: Depression, self harm, smut

He hates it at first, but quickly makes friends with two other patients, PJ and Chris. Another boy, Dan, joins the group, but he’s really quiet and reluctant to share anything as to why he’s there. Phil gets him to open up eventually, but the things he finds out about Dan are not as simple as Phil thought they’d be. (P.S. Yes, I know a lot of things that happen in the hospital would never ever happen in a real hospital but it’s fiction for a reason!)
