The group is now Riley, Lucas, and Farkle. Maya is forgotten until one day she offers to help Lucas clean a cut and a new interest in their old friend causes them to wonder about the secrets, but Maya has no interest on sharing them with people she does not trust.

Maya keeps a journal, where she writes all her personal and deep thoughts in. She loses it one day at school. A guy named Lucas friar finds it and starts reading it. After reading through the journal, all he wants to do is find the girl.
