However after having her son, she changes the way she lives and lands the job as detective for the NYPD, she later got promoted to the homocide department where she met the love of her life. Work takes a nasty turn when she and her son become targeted by a criminal: The Masterpiece. The Masterpiece is a serial killer -who has been on the run for 6 years- bit of a coincidence that Caroline's son is 6 years old though, isn't it? Will Caroline and her son survive the torture coming ahead? Or will they be tormented for the rest of their lives?
