Troye has been set up on a blind date for a company event night by Caspar - his caring, but highly unpredictable friend. The man that shows up at his door turns out to be someone, or rather -something-, Troye could have never expected. Can he get past the awkward situation he's been put in and enjoy himself? Troye's not so sure... Giving in to Tyler's advances, Troye finds himself in a very strange yet, physically, very satisfying situation. As time progresses, so does the relationship between the two unlikely lovers. But will the fine balance between sex and romance stay the way it is? Or will it all fall into ruin because of their resistance to fall for each other?

He's seen how different kids get treated, hell, he's been the one to treat them that way before. Why on Earth would he ever wish that on himself? No, it's easier to hide, to be someone you're not, than to be hated. Right?

Troye Sivan didn't stand out much and he liked it that way. He was what he would call 'average' in every aspect of the word. He also didn't believe in fate. So how could a moment, that was so perfectly timed, happen in such a way that would alter his entire existence? How could one simple sentence change everything? "It's too late, I see you".

It's just too easy to expect that self-proclaimed homophobes (like Troye Sivan) and a homosexuals themselves (like Tyler Oakley) could never get along. Not even mindless vengeful plans or diabolic fake babies or constant mockery or accidental not-dates or attempts to make each other's lives a living hell could force a decent acquaintanceship upon them, much less was there a chance that they'd develop weird yet genuine relationships and feelings that definitely crosses the border of friendship.
