Kept in a golden box, able to see everything happening around you, but unable to respond, locked away for their entertainment. Watch as everything you know collapses around you, and changes. Becomes something new. As a genie, Asra was prepared for the possibility, but never thought it would happen. Never thought she'd have to see her family destroyed, lost to the war of time all because of one mistake. Because, despite the rumors, even a Genie can't fight against time by themselves.

The bored-looking man in white who has no name, who steps from level to level and layer to layer, who thieves and pickpockets and gets along quite well, who is different from anybody else in this world, who has never been stopped or challenged or noticed... ... has been seen. Not by one person, but by many. Slowly, so slowly that he doesn't want to believe it's true, his anonymity is slipping away. It's almost as if the world is changing around him. The world is changing. But it isn't changing around him... Most chapters are private, available only to my followers. Disclaimer: This is a NaNoWriMo novel, and therefore you should not expect it to contain the understandable plot, well-explained world-building, decent descriptions, discernible sentences, adequate grammar, or acceptable spelling that I usually strive so hard for. There is also no ending. You have been warned.
