In the summer of 1990, Stephanie Ryder returns to Boston after completing her second year at UC Berkeley. She's happy to be back home and reunites with her favorite boys, New Kids on the Block. Stephanie has known the group long before they were dubbed the "Hardest Working Kids in Show Business", and gets to spend some time with them before they leave again for their new Magic Summer tour. Jordan Knight, lead singer of the group, begins his new relationship with Stephanie after knowing each other for so long. The both of them are willing to make it work, despite everything that comes with fame and fortune for the rising pop group.
