Sonic the Hedgehog who disappeared after Robotnick escaped from the Sonic Underground base. Sonic has been chasing the evil man for years now having to leave his family behind and making a new one. What will happen when the three hedgehogs that have been missing from the blue hedgehog's life finally reappear?

Addiction is an awful thing. Eggman's plan was give Shadow a set of pills to fuel his temptation to kill Sonic. Shadow only took the pills for the chaos emeralds Eggman offered. When the pills are switched out for an antidote Tails creates after Shadow nearly kills Sonic, Shadow takes them without realizing to finish what he started. An emotion if artificial attraction from the antidote takes Shadow over, an addition begins to form. An addition for an emotion Shadow hadn't felt since Maria, one he didn't want to forget again.
