Fear. Fear has always been in the lives of Ruby Flanagan and Lakota Blue, but the girls' fears have turned into something far worse. The constant terror in their lives forever changes them when the girls are sent to the Institute, where they are taught to hide in fright from the world. Sick of it all, the girls escape from the Institute with a group of kids just like them and start on a quest across the world, authorities at their tails, to face their fears.
