Millions died. Then... they came back. They started walking, biting, scratching, contaminating. Imports and exports to North America were immediately halted. It wasn't safe anymore. All flights were grounded. Ships were docked. They were placed under quarantine. The safest mode of transportation was driving. Of course, main roads had to be avoided to steer clear of thugs and bandits. John just wanted to get home, make sure his family was okay. Along the way, he ran into a group of uninfecteds who took him in. After all, most of them had the same goal: Make sure their families were safe. Or to just stay alive in this new land of chaos.
