This 31-day writing challenge is about people - how broken we all are. But being broken means we can let the light shine through. Read short stories, quick scenes, and poems about curious children, socially awkward teenagers, closet musicians, long-distance lovers, and a guardian angel. Personally, this is my journey into writing as a teenager, so I hope you'll relate to and enjoy this :)

You might not like this. A collection, in no certain order. I write poetry to unravel the mystery of my own mind, maybe yours as well. I listen to rap while eating cashews. I wear owl earrings while dappling in misadventure, and that has everything to do with what's posted here. These are written through a "valencia" filter. Thanks for reading!

Maybe I'm insane, but aren't we all a bit. Here's a look inside my crazy mind. My hopes, my fears, my problems all out there for you to see. It's not all pretty and it's not all nice, but it's the truth. I won't blame society for these things, because in reality... we are society. I've come to realize that just maybe, were all meant to be a little insane.
