This book talks about the You individually and going through times when you are your own light but, also when all you see and when all you feel is darkness. The You I dream about and need and the You I fall for, where strong emotions and first times start and seemingly end. This book goes from a lone You, through struggle, loss from the past and what didn't make it as far; the relationships between family and friends, and romantic connections. As well as the bittersweet feelings from new life changing experiences. But, in the end everything comes together. The beginning is of struggle and the middle and part of the end is of love. Nyx is the Greek Goddess of Night and Protegenai. She was born straight from Chaos and is very well respected and feared even by Zeus, due to the fact she is the first divine entity. Her husband Erebos is God of Darkness. Her children inherited her dark qualities as well. The popular of the minor dieties were the Three Fates, Charon, and Thanatos and Hypnos. She is mostly seen lurking behind the shadows in stories but has an important role in Greek Mythology, shown as a powerful, beautiful, and mysterious woman wearing a thin, flowy shawl, enveloped in void black.
