I found this idea on Tumblr and all the credit of the idea goes to bee-a-potato. I had honestly thought of this as well but never had any kind of inspiration to write it until now :) What would happen if rather than being supportive of his new found powers after the incident, Sam and tucker freaked out? What if they truly felt that their friend had died when the portal activated and now there was just some ghost possessing their friend? What if it was actually true in the end? if that was all Danny was, just a simple memory and trying to fix what he had left behind?
