Seventeen year old Natalia S. Evans, crosses paths with the corps of a recently deceased Kathlene Pyke, on a camping trip late summer and leaves the short vacation with a sour taste in her mouth as well as an overpowering sense of curiosity. Too suspicious and eery, Natalia embarks on an investigation of her own, carrying along with her a piece of evidence from the 'crime' scene for guidance. Seemingly easy from afar, young Natalia underestimates the bumpy road ahead of her where she'll battle with a mob boss 4,500 km away and Natalia's own conflicting relationship with her only Guardian; an overly domineering Uncle who cares little for any preoccupation that keeps her from tending to his needs.
