Leah is a Radiant, a dying race that is able to crystallise Light. Plagued for centuries by a parasite able to turn them into mindless monsters known as Lightless, the Radiant's homeland has been long since lost. Leah's seen what the parasite has done to her people's morale, and she's determined to be the one who finds the cure. Only the League of Light still challenge the expansion of the Lightless, but new recruits are growing scarcer, their Radiant blood thinner as the League struggle to maintain numbers. When Leah arrives with her Radiant features and the full ability to manipulate Light, not all of them see her as a blessing. There's a divide between the pure Radiants and the humans who can claim their blood, and with shadows in the League, Leah's going to have to wade through it all if she wants to find her cure. "Fire is the element of power. It is the element of anger, the element of passion. It has the power to destroy, yes, but what many have overlooked is that it also has the power to create. This is who you are, and if you don't control yourself, how are you supposed to control your powers?" Between August 1996 and August 1997, secret and illegal experiments were conducted on 120 baby girls and boys in Holland, Ireland, Germany, Greece, Italy, France and Spain. However, only 12 of these children survived the process. This is the story of Valyn Enya Mesman. She was born with ability to control, manipulate and create fire and lightning, the cold-blooded fire. She grows up in the small, quiet town of Limburg in Holland as the daughter of a Vlaae maker and a clock-maker/clock shop owner. Although getting good grades, she is the school's resident Bad Girl; she is considered a pyromaniac and a manipulative witch. However, Valyn knows that sometimes the things she did was not her fault. But when a man in black with a British accent takes her parents and then in turn attempts to kidnap her, Valyn's life takes a turn for the scary. She's saved by two Irish accented strangers dressed in black leather and taken to Britain, where she meets 10 others like the strangers, who tell Valyn that her attempted kidnapping was only the beginning and that it's up to her to find the other 11 Kinetics and take down the people that took Valyn's parents and are after their blood. Her creators. (This book contains Dutch, German, Spanish and some Russian words that I know; also cultural references that I know or learned or have relearned!)

My name is Tide. I'd love to say hi and all, but if I tell you my location two very bad things could happen. First, someone who isn't really on my list of favorite people might find the information. Then, they would hunt us down and try to use our powers to take over the world and other maniacal things. Yeah, not so fun. However, I'd like it if people knew how things really happened. You may see things on the news, and they may sound bad, but trust me, this is the real story. Because I'm an Elemental. And somebody needs to set the record straight.* [Action #101] [Fantasy #2] :: cover credit goes to the lovely ATXNNA :: *heyo so this book is pretty old, some (a lot of) spelling mistakes, some (a lot of) plot holes, but if you're looking for some fast paced action and some sarcasm and some cliche romance you should honestly just go to the second book but yeah, this has got that, just with, you know, the glaring faults in the story line. Just a warning.

The video game shop's bell rang, signaling a customer entering. "Excuse me?" A light voice sounds behind me. I look up from my phone, "Sorry, we're not open." Confusion wraps around me as I stare at the customer. It's a tall, thin girl with long, pearl white hair. An amulet is wrapped tightly around her neck with rough fabric. "Do you know where the nearest portal to Atlantis is? My dragon is waiting for me." *** Shawn lives a normal life in his parents basement while playing video games all day. That is, until his parents force him to get a job and pay to live in their house. When some weird girl walks into his life (not to mention claiming to be the princess of Atlantis) things just get crazier.

"I don't want to bang you up... too much." "Cause I'm a girl?" "Cause you're strong. We'll need people like you if we're going to fight back." Unfair doesn't mean anything to Hayden anymore. Wouldn't building a long, thick stone wall dividing the poor and the rich be considered as unfair? That didn't stop the government from doing so, and cutting off the low from any official support. It's not like Hayden had a choice. Street fighting is her life... until someone else enters the picture. Someone that may change the world as we know it... and Hayden. #4 in Adventure January 5, 2016 #5 in Adventure June 30, 2016 Finished June 29, 2016

You do NOT have to read the first story, but it is suggested. Trust me when I say the story is 10 times better than the summary. Of course, if you ignore the grammar mistakes. Not edited yet.«««.
