This is a story about Misaka Mikoto and Kamijou Touma, and how their paths are interlinked. With a Level 5 and a Level 0, its no wonder the stars are so terribly crossed. Academy City is a place for espers with various powers to nurture and grow with the aid of the stupendous curriculum. With a teleporter, a thermo hand and even an imagine breaker as friends, its no wonder life as the third ranked level 5, "The Railgun", is so hard for poor Mikoto-chan! Well, at least she has Touma. (Misaka/Touma)!
