Lynn is the new girl at Boston North High. Despite believing that things could get worse, things actually start out great. She soon makes friends and soon makes herself the school bullies new favourite toy. DISCLAIMER #1: I wrote this story when I was a teen and while some mental disorders are the focal point, they may not be accurate representations as I was far from being a psychologist. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. Therapy can only help so much, depression is hard to die, and in Lynn's case it's caused solely by the fact she doesn't 'fit in'. She can't really find her place in the world. But there's something really special about her; Her dreams are haunted by a wonderful, mystical place. No one understands her, they think she's off her rocker, that she needs to cut her childish daydreams. But Lynn knows deep in her heart that place really exists, and she'll do anything to find it, with the help of some new found friends. Lynn Gunn and Katherine meet at warped and find they have alot in common. After they both start to fall for eachother more challenges happen and its hard for them to be together, will they make it work?

After months of an unhappy on-off relationship, Lynn finally decides to break it up for good with her boyfriend. To start anew she decides to move out of town and gets a job at a music store to pay for her rent. When she meets a wonderful girl from town she realizes things about herself that she never considered possible. One of them being that she's hella gay. Author's note: This story at its conception was mostly a project for myself to see if I could write something and get feedback and since i was heavily into PVRIS at the time I wrote it as Lynn Gunn fanficion. I finished writing this story years ago and since then I've not felt exactly comfortable with writing fanfiction about real people because of my own reasons. I pondered on deleting it, but I grew too fond of the response this story got, despite not liking it myself, so I decided on keeping it, just tweaking it a bit so the main character is not a fictionalized version of Lynn Gunn, just with her as a face claim. Sorry if this dissapoints anyone, but nothing can stop you from still imagining this story as fanfiction. Thank you for everything, ana xx.
