Asher the Norfolk & Western Class A 2-6-6-4 #1200 was the prototype Class A, which he and his brothers and sisters were built by the Norfolk & Western Railway's East End Shops in Roanoke, Virginia between 1936 and 1950. In 1955 after the N&W bought diesels, Asher battled for his Class and his other Class Cousins. After his battle failed and he heard he'll be retired, he escaped to Hagerstown, Maryland.
