James Adams, my first love, my first kiss, my first everything. He was one of a kind, truly. How could anyone forget about those chocolate brown eyes, or the way his shaggy hair falls over his face when he leans over, or the way his eyebrows furrowed when he was concentrating. How could anyone not remember the way he walked elders across the street or helped shoppers carry their groceries to their vehicle. How could anyone forget the talent he had, the way he played guitar or the way he sang to his favorite bands. How could anyone forget how kind he was, how he helped students with their homework or how he stuck up for picked on kids in the school hallways. How could anyone not remember the way he loved, how could anyone possibly forget? Because I know I could not ever possibly forget. Forgetting the little things would be quite impossible for me. Though it's been a year, I still have the minty scent of you lingering on my sweatshirt. I still have that dusty, untouched guitar sitting in the corner of my bedroom that you gave to me on my 15th birthday. I still have the pictures and letters hanging all over the white walls. I still have your phone number in my phone, and I still call it often so I can hear your voice on the voicemail. But most of all, I still have all the memories. Those unforgettable memories.

Poetry I've had to write for English classes. There's no rhyme or reason to any of this. No specific theme. Just completely random poems. :) I put the school year I wrote them next to the title so one could see how I've *grown* as a poet. (I probably haven't, I really don't want to.) Anyways, enjoy!!!

"WHAT DID YOU DO!" I looked all around me, everything was blurry, unclear. "WHAT DID YOU DO, LILY!" I felt an aching in my throat, as tears began to fill my eyes. My entire body throbbed, and I was clutching onto something. Something sharp. A knife. And blood was dripping from it. ___________________________________________ Lily was an average teenager living an average teenage life before she was met with the challenging news that she was a Timecatcher. Protecting her family from those out to kill her for the Timecatcher crystal, she must fake her death and run away, leaving her family behind. She then meets Evan, who happens to be searching for his missing Fiancee, Kate. Soon enough, Lily discovers her own family is in danger. Together, Evan and Lily must find a way to not be found by 'them' on the dangerous adventure to find Kate and save Lily's family, avoiding the truth that they were slowly falling in love along the way, despite the situation they were in, or the damage they would cause.
